Weekend one smashes expectations at Dublin Cocktail Week as World Cup fever rises ahead of weekend two
Feedback from weekend one at Dublin Cocktail Week, where signature cocktails, mocktails and exceptional food deals were flowing, is pouring in, and it’s great news all-round ahead of what is set to be a bumper, busy and boozy final World Cup weekend.

This week and final weekend – which happens to coincide with the first World Cup weekend – is expected to be a bumper few days for both guests and sales
The 10-day event, which started on 5 June and runs until 14 June, has welcomed thousands of visitors to over 35 venues across the city, including Jameson Distillery, Capitol Lounge, Disndat, J.T. Pim’s, Café 1920 – Fleet Hotel, Pitch Golf, North Dublin and the Norseman, to name but a few.
This week and final weekend – which happens to coincide with the first World Cup weekend – is expected to be a bumper few days for both guests and sales.
Ciaran O’Flynn at Capitol Lounge is astounded at how sales increased.
“Dublin Cocktail Week has been a fantastic success for us so far at Capitol Lounge. Customer response has been exceptional, with over 1,000 Raspberry & Lemon Margaritas sold during the opening weekend alone.
“It’s great to see so many people exploring Dublin’s cocktail scene and supporting hospitality businesses across the city. We look forward to welcoming even more guests over the remainder of the festival.”
Lemon and Duke sold 233 cocktails since the start of the weekend, and group events manager, Nera Svilan, is thrilled.
“We love being part of Dublin Cocktail Week. It’s always a great opportunity to welcome new faces through our doors, showcase what we do at Lemon & Duke, and be part of the amazing cocktail community across the city.
“There’s a great buzz around the week, and we’re delighted to be involved this year.”
Old Fashioned Sams sold around 300 cocktails from their cocktail week menu and expect to do three times that on the final weekend.
Marketing manager Alessia Negro at event hotel partner, Aloft Hotels, said, “We are so excited to partner up with Dublin Cocktail Week and welcome cocktail lovers from all over to Aloft Dublin City!
“There’s an undeniable buzz in the city during cocktail week and seeing everyone out exploring Dublin’s incredible hospitality scene is fantastic. Our teams at W XYZ and Tenters have been shaking up something truly special, and we’re thrilled to be a central hub where people can gather, connect, and enjoy great drinks together.”
And for businesses looking to get involved in 2027’s plans, Eva Reingraber at J.T Pims said she’s delighted to be a part of the Dublin Cocktail week again this year.
