The Irish Whiskey Association expanded international trade opportunities and protections for the Irish whiskey industry in 2021 according to the representative body for the Irish whiskey industry which recently published its end of year review.

Boba Bar, 139 Parnell Street, Dublin 1 and the kitchen used for the preparation, cooking and service of food at Mitchell's Bar in Main Street, Carrigallen in Leitrim, were two of eight premises served with a Closure Order under the FSAI ACT 1998 and the European Union (Official Controls in Relation to Food Legislation) Regulations, 2020.
