Gleeson Group are delighted to announce the launch of Carnaby Brown,a new 5.5% abv, lightly sparkling and fruity perry, made from a blend of pears with a hint of white and muscat grape. There are two variants: White and Rosé. The unique combination of ingredients provides a distinctive and sophisticated taste making Carnaby Brown different to anything else on the market.
Served in an elegant 75cl Bordeaux- style bottle Carnaby Brown occupies a unique space beyond the ultra accessible premixed drinks/vodkas and mixers, sitting alongside the fruity ciders and perries in the market, but with a nod to “sophistication and sharability” of a bottle of wine.
Galway girl Aisling Young, created Carnaby Brown when she identified a gap in the market for a drink that women were looking for. As an experienced drinks marketer and a woman herself, she felt that no existing brand truly celebrated the unique relationship between women, or the importance they place on friendship and sharing experiences.
Carnaby Brown is already an international success. Initially launched in Belfast in April 2010, the brand has subsequently expanded its franchise across Great Britain, joined forces with Heineken in Spain and most recently was launched in Australia and West Africa. In spring 2011 Carnaby Brown will launch in Russia, Scandinavia and the USA.
