Pulse’s Pat wins Event Security Person of the Year

Pat Douglas, Security Team Leader with Pulse Security Management, took the title of Event Security Person of the Year at the Irish Security Industry Awards recently for his exceptional performance over the last 10 years at the Guinness Storehouse as Head Security guard there.

The awards were held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Enniskerry, County Wicklow and were attended by all the main stakeholders of the Irish security industry.

Sarah O’Donnell, Communications Director with the Irish Security Industry Association, commented on Pat’s win, stating that he possessed qualities and skills that were exceptionally high to the extent that he left a lasting impression on the judging panel.
Pulse Security’s nominating of Pat for the award was endorsed by the client, The Guinness Storehouse.

“Pat manages this, his own team and the customer’s expectation always with a professionalism and friendliness that’s peerless,” explained Joe Higgins, Genenral Manager at the Guinness Storehouse, “Pat’s our point of contact for booking the security team, liaising and advising clients on specific requests and on the night managing the team of anything up to 20 security personnel in their positions.”

Michael McQuillan, the Managing Director of Pulse, also congratulated Pat on his award, stating, “Pat’s a shining light in our industry and is an example of how we conduct our business”.
