Ongoing Covid-19 measures taken by governments in 2021 have continued to hit bars, restaurants and events around Europe, disproportionately impacting the brewing industry and suppressing hospitality's beer sales to 35% below their 2019 volumes.

May's Restaurant/Dining Card spend up 130%

At €539.8 million total card spend on Restaurants/Dining jumped by 130% last May compared to the May 2021 spend of €234.7 million according to figures released by the Central Bank recently.
