LVA’s Diploma Day

Diplomas in Bar Management from the Licensed Vintners Association were awarded to 62 students at this year’s awards ceremony held in the LVA headquarters at Angelsea House in Ballsbridge, Dublin, recently.

The LVA Diploma course was devised by the Association’s HR Advisor Gillian Knight and ran for 20 weeks from September to April.

Each semester contains four modules which cover HR, Performance Management, Health and Safety, Customer Service & Communications and Law as well as Insurance & Fraud, Food & Beverage Management, Operations Management and Marketing.

Both Junior & Senior years took part in the awards which offer connections and networking opportunities as well as practical learning.
