He’s assumed responsibility for the worldwide management, growth and direction of Tullamore Dew, now one of William Grant & Sons six core brands.
Shane joins from Heineken where he spent the last 13 years in a number of senior roles around the world including most recently in New York as Senior Brand Director for Heineken USA. He was previously based in Global Marketing in Amsterdam as International Communication Manager responsible for Heineken global advertising initiatives and prior to that was Senior Brand Manager for Heineken in Ireland. He began his career with Grant’s of Ireland in the mid-1990s as Brand Manager for a portfolio which included Tullamore Dew.
John Quinn has also been appointed as the first-ever Global Brand Ambassador for Tullamore Dew. He’s responsible for developing product knowledge and expertise among important bar staff, brand managers and consumers around the world, as well as working with local Tullamore Dew Brand Ambassadors in key markets such as North America, UK, France, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Scandinavia and Ireland.
John has worked with Tullamore Dew for more than 30 years in a variety of roles including, since 1993, as Regional Director in markets including Latin America, Eastern Europe, France, Israel and the Middle East.
Tullamore Dew is the second largest Irish whiskey in the world.
