First Drinks distributing Tullamore Dew

Distribution of Tullamore Dew in the UK has transferred from Maxxium UK to First Drinks following the purchase of the whiskey brand from the C&C Group recently by William Grant & Sons for €300 million.

Maxxium UK has also handed across the other brands included in the C&C deal, Carolans Cream and Irish Mist, to First Drinks, William Grant & Sons’ subsidiary.

According to First Drinks’ Managing Director Chris Mason, “As part of William Grant & Sons, it makes sense for us to assume control of these brands in the UK. First Drinks has an established range of premium spirits and one of the best-balanced portfolios in the industry”.
