Wetherspoon’s Linen Weaver opening in Cork

JD Wetherspoon opens its newest pub, the fifth in RoI, in Cork this Tuesday, September 8th, following a €3.65 million investment in developing the outlet with the creation of 75 new jobs.

Built on the site of the former Newport Café, Bar and Restaurant in Paul Street Plaza, Cork, The Linen Weaver will be managed by Louie Scott.

The new-look pub is on three floors and features two bars as well as a roof terrace beer garden.

It will serve food every day from opening until 11pm.

The company already runs four pubs here: The Three Tun Tavern in Blackrock, The Forty Foot in Dun Laoghaire, The Great Wood at Blanchardstown and The Old Borough in Main Street, Swords.
