Unique craft beer opportunity

A Liquidator was appointed to Achill Island Brewery in County Mayo last December.

The brewery, commissioned in 2015, is now being offered for sale by McKay machinery auctioneers either as a “going concern” subject to the buyer entering into a new property lease or as assets for relocation.

The assets comprise a Pureweld Stainless 16-barrel microbrewery with a local mountain lake water source.

The plant includes a Grain Hopper, Mash Tun & Cooper, Hot & Cold Liquor Vessels, 4 Fermenting Tanks, 4 Pressurised Conditioning Tanks, a Glycol Chiller, Keg & Bottle Filling, CIP System, 200 Litre Pilot Plant, Cold Room Standby Generator etc.

The lands and modern industrial premises, situated at Bun an Churraig, extend to approximately 1,152 square metres and are available to lease from Údarás na Gaeltachta subject to agreeing terms.

The assets are being offered for sale by Tender with a closing date for receipt of bids by 12.00 noon on Wednesday 24th January 2018.

Full details of the facility are available on http://www.mckay.ie or by contacting Robert McKay on 01 490 3130 or robert@mckay.ie.
