Temple Inns’ €3.3m pre-tax profit

Temple Inns, the company behind The Temple Bar pub in Dublin’s cultural quarter, enjoyed pre-tax profits of €3.3 million in the year to the 31st October 2016, up 19% from the previous year’s €2.8 million.

Operating profits rose 15% to €3.8 million, up from the previous year’s €3.3 million.

Temple Inns’ net assets rose by €2.7 million to €26.5 million.

Staff costs (including directors remuneration) also rose during the year by 31% to €3.1 million with remuneration for the two directors, Tom and Jackie Cleary, accounting for €337,197, 6.5% less than the €360,819 figure for 2015.

The €337,197 figure comprised remuneration of €300,00 with €37,197 paid in pension contributions.
