Southern Comfort seeks winning signature serve

Southern Comfort has asked bartenders to create a signature serve that tastes great, is replicable and tells a great story.

In New Orleans there’s a party on every street, a story behind every door and a mischievous smile inviting you to be a part of it all. So Southern Comfort has asked bartenders to create a signature serve that tastes great, is replicable and tells a great story.

Southern Comfort Brand Ambassador Christian Tirel will host workshops around the country to help bartenders develop and perfect their signature serve from the 25th to the 27th of March 2019.

Bartenders should speak to their Hi-Spirits Brand Development Managers or reps to find a workshop near them.

All online entries will be scored out of 100 points by a panel of judges. The signature serve should be original (20), taste great (40), have a clever name and story (10), look good (10) and should be suitably scalable to serve up to 300 serves in one night (20).

Finalists will compete in the Southern Showdown Final in Dublin in May where they’ll go head-to-head, showcasing their entry to fellow bartenders and industry legends for their chance to win a trip to Tales of the Cocktail in New Orleans.
