Smirnoff has again topped the Top 100 Premium Spirits Brands Worldwide from Impact magazine which puts case sales of the brand at 26 million nine-litre cases last year.

Another Diageo brand, Johnnie Walker Scotch, takes second place with sales of 18.1 million cases.

Jameson Irish whiskey lies in 11th place with sales of 10.4 million cases while two places below this, Baileys (another Diageo product) sold 6.5 million cases.

Tullamore Dew from William Grant & Sons just slips into the charts, taking 99th place in the Top 100 Premium Spirits Brands with sales of 1.2 million cases.

In terms of overall product (both premium and non-premium) Smirnoff comes in in 6th place to Jinro in top place, with Jameson taking 31st place and Baileys 34th place.
