Slow start to 2017 property sales

Auctioneer CBRE reports that the Dublin pub market has been slow to kick-start in 2017 with very few pub premises coming to market during the first two months of the year.

“However this is typical for the time of year and we expect to see a number of pubs being formally launched for sale over the next few months with a particular emphasis on suburban pubs,” stated the company in its bi-monthly report, “With assets only now being officially launched for sale, transactional activity in both the hotel and licensed sectors will undoubtedly be heavily weighted towards the second half of 2017 – a trend that we expect to see replicated in many other sectors of the property market.”
