Profits up for PJ

Accumulated profits rose at PJ Rigney Distillery & International Brands Ltd to over €1 million in the year to 30th September 2017 from €166,185 the previous year according to accounts lodged with the Companies Office.

PJ Rigney’s Shed Distillery makes Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin and recently launched Sausage Tree Vodka.

Employment in the County Leitrim operation nearly doubled during the year from seven to 13 which is reflected in the wages and salaries bill which rose from €136,690 to €392,702.

The retained profits figure meant a €99,626 boost in remuneration for the three directors of the company PJ and Denise Rigby as well as John Dillon who received only €10,500 the previous year.
