Oval profits up 9%
Alazwar, the company that operates the Oval bar in Dublin city centre’s Middle Abbey Street, showed a 9.2% growth in accumulated profits to €1.06 million in the year to the 31st July 2017 from €969,750 the previous year.
Oval owners Charlie Chawke and Eddie Bohan’s unaudited, abridged financial statement to 31st July also shows that staff costs grew 10.5% from €323,792 to €357,715 of which wages and salaries rose to €327,358 from €294,182.
