Oliver St John Gogarty’s profitable year

Drayton House Holdings, the company which operates the Oliver St John Gogarty pub in Temple Ba in conjunction with Blooms Hotel, declared pre-tax profits of €5.5 million in the year to 28th February 2017, up 12.5% on the previous year’s €4.9 million according to its consolidated statement lodged with the Companies Office.

Turnover for the year, at €16.25 million was up 7.0% on the previous year’s €15.18m figure.

Operating Profits increased 10.8% from €4.9 million to €5.5 million while staff costs for the 108 staff (including those of the directors) stood at €2.84 million, up 3.3% from the €2.75 million figure of the previous year.

Remuneration for the directors (Martin, Vera and Martina Keane) totalled €247,550.
