LVA launches Alone fundraising initiative

In marking its Bicentenary this year the Licensed Vintners Association recently announced details of its Bicentennial Dublin Amber Pale Ale community initiative with Alone, the charity that supports older people living on their own at home.

With an ambition to raise €200,000 for the charity, the fundraising initiative was launched in The Two Sisters pub in Terenure recently. The launch was attended by a number of senior trade figures including Diageo Channel Director for the On-Trade Ann Marie Phillips and the LVA Chair and owner of The Two Sisters Deirdre Devitt as well as Alone Chief Executive Seán Moynihan.

Alone is itself celebrating its 40th Anniversary.
