In Top Gear for Dingle Distillery

New Top Gear presenters Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc, their team & film crew, drove up in style to the Dingle Whiskey Distillery recently to film on site for one of the episodes in the new series.

Chris & Matt, Top Gear presenters in this their first season since the BBC dropped Jeremy Clarkson, were a perfect match: Dingle Whiskey is also in its first season.

The organised visit was kept a surprise for guests, patrons and the Dingle Distillery team on-site but the excitement was palpable as the pair’s cars worth over €500,000 – a 1976 Rolls Royce Corniche and a 2016 Rolls Royce Dawn Convertible – rolled into the yard at Dingle Distillery (in the same aqua blue colour as the Dingle Vodka bottle).

“It was a wonderful day for the distillery to be featured on Top Gear” commented General Manager Mary Ferriter, “It’s an honour and our team are very grateful to both Chris & Matt who took the time to pose for photos and chat in the ‘Dingle way’.”

A fortuitously sunny Slea Head gave the Top Gear team an amazing experience and all at the distillery look forward to welcoming them back some day.
