Hospitality Expo prepares for next generation

Hospitality Expo in the RDS this coming 6th-7th of February addresses the key business and procurement concerns of the hotel, restaurant and pub sectors.

The show gathers over 3,000 owners, general managers and operators of pubs, restaurants and hotels from the whole island of Ireland.

This year’s theme is preparing the hospitality industry for the next generation of customer whether by adopting New Technology or renewing premises through Design and Fit Out, offering new Food and Beverage options or revamping Bar and Catering Equipment. It showcases new product and service ideas to hospitality business owners looking to invest in their businesses to attract the next generation of customers and includes three seminars.

For pubs, the LVA is running the LVA Pub Forum, a separate conference for publicans, focusing on product, theme nights and events, technology and catering while the VFI will promote the event to their members.

In line with the theme, for hotels Dromoland Castle’s Chief Executive Mark Nolan gives a keynote presentation at the Hospitality Summit looking at how traditional hospitality venues can connect with new and younger clientele.

For restaurants the Synergy Pro Chef Forum, a specially-designed conference for culinary professionals, will explore the business of being a head chef and managing a successful kitchen. Top chefs and industry professionals will discuss key issues and challenges facing kitchen professionals and exploring the skills and solutions needed to overcome them.
