“Flying distillation tanks, Batman!”

Anyone casually glancing up into the skies of Dublin last month might have been somewhat startled to observe what seemed to be a self-propelled flying distillation tank.

Anyone casually glancing up into the skies of Dublin recently might have been somewhat startled to observe what seemed to be a self-propelled flying distillation tank.

However all was well. On the other end of the steel cable was a helicopter.

Of course it was all part of the ongoing construction of the state-of-the-art Dublin Liberties Distillery which is located in a 300-year old former mill and tannery building in Mill Street.

The tank was safely lowered into the grounds of what will soon become the Dublin Liberties Distillery.
