Finbarr wins the Catex student crown

Finbarr Collins, a Fourth Year student in the Bachelor of Business in Hospitality Management course Cork IT’s Department of Tourism & Hospitality, has returned home victorious having won the National Student Hospitality Cocktail Competition at Catex in the RDS in Dublin.

Edward Dillon & Co sponsored the competition which brought together the best mixology students from colleges throughout Ireland.

Drimoleague County Cork’s Finbarr’s win follows his recent gold medal win in his competition class at the annual AEHT Competitions in Serbia where 425 competitors, representing 85 European Tourism and Hospitality colleges from 40 member countries in 10 competition classes, competed for European titles.
