Dingle SuperValu Off-Licence of Year

SuperValu Dingle, Co Kerry, was the overall winner of the recent SuperValu Off-Licence of the Year for 2015/16 while Cosgrove’s Centra Maugheraboy, Co Sligo, won the Centra Off-Licence of the Year.

SuperValu St Aidan’s Shopping Centre, Wexford, won the Large Store category while SV Castleisland won the Medium Store Category and SuperValu Portumna was the Small Store award-winner.

Centra, Clonroadmore, Ennis, won the Centra Wine Store of the Year and Reidy’s Centra in Foynes in County Limerick received the convenience store title.

Centra and Supervalu off-licences from across Ireland had gathered at the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone for the Edward Dillon & Santa Rita Estates Supervalu and Centra Off-Licence of the Year Awards.

The overall winner and category winners win a trip to Chile and Argentina and all finalists received a certificate of achievement on the night.

Hosts Edward Dillon & Co Chief Executive Andy O’Hara, Category Manager at Musgraves Donagh McClafferty and Santa Rita Estates’ Commercial Director for the UK and Ireland Terry Pennington joined with radio presenter Shay Byrne as MC for the evening with entertainment provided by comedian Neil Delamere.
