LVA & Diageo win Partnership Award

Diageo Ireland scooped top prize in the Excellence in Community – Partnership with Charity category at the 2018 Chambers Ireland CSR awards for teaming-up with the Licensed Vintners Association and the charity Alone.

Diageo’s master brewers created a new beer, Dublin Amber Ale, to mark 200 years of the Dublin Pub, of which 50 cent from each pint sold was donated to Alone.

Over 300 pubs took part, raising some €225,000 for Alone which is using the money for its ‘befriending network’ and to build homes for older people.
