Coca-Cola’s Signature Serve Grand Final
Once again, the eight regional finalists have to display various skills and their own unique Coca-Cola Signature Serve to become Coca-Cola Signature Bar Tender and win the trip of a lifetime to The World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta, Georgia.
The bartending competition kicked-off early last year with 150 outlets being selected for the programme. Regional heats took place in October and November in Belfast, Dublin, Cork and Galway.
Contestants battled it out over two rounds to prove their understanding of the six steps of the Coca-Cola Signature Serve and win a place in the final round. Each had three minutes on stage to demonstrate their own Coca-Cola Signature Serve style.
“Each city provided two regional finalists with Coca-Cola Signature Serves ranging from chemistry lessons dating back to the conception of Coca-Cola by Dr John Pemberton, silent movies inspired by Charlie Chaplin and a rap incorporating all of the moves needed for perfection,” explained Peter Hughes, Channel Marketing Manager for Coca-Cola HBC.
The competition involved individual on-site training, workshops and materials required to undertake the Coca-Cola Signature Serve. The programme was followed-up with mystery shop programmes for eligibility to enter the competition heats.
