Carry Out takes to the airwaves with Movies and Booze sponsorship  

Carry Out Off Licence has become the first-ever sponsor of the Sean Moncrieff show’s Movies and Booze segment on Newstalk.

Ireland’s largest independent off-licence is currently sponsoring the popular segment until September with a partnership encompassing radio, online and in-store channels.

Movies and Booze and Carry Out is a perfect partnership, the mix of humour, information and culture on the show is an ideal start to our customers’ weekend,” explained Holly Barry, Brand Strategist for Carry Out’s parent company the Barry Group.

Airing between 2:40pm and 4pm every Friday, The Moncrieff Show’s Movies and Booze slot has built a cult following with regular guests such as wine expert Jean Smullen, the ‘Beer Guru’ Dean McGuinness and movie reviewer Esther McCarthy joining presenter Sean Moncrieff to taste some stand-out wines and cast an eye over the latest cinema releases.

Now with over 100 stores nationwide, Carry Out Off Licence is firmly established as Ireland’s leading independent off-licence and the Movies and Booze sponsorship is just one of a range of marketing initiatives planned for 2018, states the company.

“We’ve a number of very exciting projects in the pipeline across all of our channels,” explained Holly, “Movies and Booze is a great start to the year for us and we’ll be rolling out several projects in the coming months.”
