Casual Dining Show’s ‘King of Craft Beers’

Brú Brewery’s India Pale Ale, Brú Ri, was voted ‘King of Craft Beers’ at the recent Casual Dining Show in London’s Business Design Centre.

Brú Ri shone through over 200 entrants as the ideal craft beer to accompany quality food. Judged by beer sommeliers, chefs and food service professionals, Brú Ri stood out as the most flavoursome and balanced beer.

It’s available nationwide in both draught and bottle and is brewed with Irish malted barley and four different hop varieties to produce a crisp refreshingly bitter ale with a blast of citrus on the palate and floral scents on the nose.

The Trim, County Meath brewery has been exporting to the UK for over six months now and is well represented throughout the UK and London in the on- and off-trade claims the company.

With a staff of six, it’s expected that Brú Brewery will employ in excess of 16 people by the end of 2015 as its growth in the UK market continues.

Founded in July 2013 it has gone from producing 400 litres of beer in its first month to averaging 70,000 litres per month today and services 16 international markets.
