BAI President Declan Byrne steps down

Bartender’s Association of Ireland President Declan Byrne steps down this month after 13 years as the figurehead of this high-profile trade group.

“I’m also Secretary of the International Association now and so am extremely busy,” he said, “It takes more than one person to do all that work. Also, it’s time to bring in new blood, new ideas and new energy.”

The Westbury Hotel’s Micheál O’Shea is the new BAI President with Eddie Rudzinkas of the Western Ra Hotel in the middle of Monaghan town as Vice President.
